SAMPLE WORK · INBOX ORGANIZATION
An inbox organized by action.
A sample approach to separating urgent work, reference material, and messages waiting on the next action.
The problem
When marketing messages, requests, and reference material share the same view, it becomes harder to recognize what needs a response.
The approach
Use a hierarchy of labels for priority, finance, operations, growth, reference, action status, and noise. Separate a message's topic from whether it needs action, a reply, or later reference.
What this demonstrates
The screenshots illustrate an organizational method. They do not establish a measured response-time SLA or a guarantee that all messages will be categorized correctly. Filters and escalation rules should be reviewed against the client's actual mail.
